How to prevent acid reflux naturally

Acid reflux is a common problem for many people but there are ways to prevent acid reflux naturally.

The main cause of acid reflux is quite simply, what you eat.

If you suffer from acid reflux, it's important to avoid foods high in acid. Avoid foods with citric acid, such as any citrus fruits.

It's also important to avoid any sort of spicy food. Unlike these more obvious foods, diets high in fat can also cause acid reflux.

Try to stick to lower fat cuts of meats and seafood, and try to avoid any sort of fatty and greasy foods.

Here are some tips to help naturally prevent acid reflux:

The oldest known remedy for acid reflux is apple cider vinegar. This method was first documented in the mid 1950s, in a book dedicated to alternative medicine.

Some people swear by this method, but it hasn't really been tested in the medical field.

It's suggested you drink a 350mm glass of water with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar poured into it.

Another method is to just take an apple cider vinegar tablet, which seems to be the preferred method. For it to work, it's supposed to be done before all meals.

Another natural way to avoid acid reflux is to eat foods that will help to prevent the stomach from making excess acid.

Some foods that are believed to do this include bananas as well as papayas. Just eat one banana or a papaya before eating larger meals, such as dinner.
